Welcome to Viswakarma Sangam
Empowering the Builders of Bharat
Viswakarma Sangam is a proud platform dedicated to uplifting, uniting, and empowering the Viswakarma community — the traditional artisans and creators of India. Rooted in ancient heritage, our mission is to preserve, promote, and modernize the skills of our community across generations.
The Five Sacred Elements of Viswakarma
Our community is built on the legacy of five divine artisan castes who represent the essence of creation:
1. Kammari (Blacksmiths) – Masters of forging tools and weapons.
2. Kanchari (Bronzesmiths) – Creators of divine idols and traditional metalworks.
3. Kamsali (Goldsmiths) – Artisans of exquisite jewelry and ornaments.
4. Vadla (Carpenters) – Craftsmen of wood and architecture.
5. Shilpi (Sculptors/Masons) – Creators of temples, sculptures, and stone monuments.
These five elements together form the foundation of Viswakarma Dharma and the spiritual power behind Indian civilization’s craftsmanship.

Manu – The Blacksmith (కమ్మరి / లోహ కారుడు)
Master of forging weapons and tools, Manu represents the iron and steel craft tradition of the Viswakarma community.

Maya – The Carpenter (వడ్లు / సుతార్)
Maya symbolizes the art of woodworking, from chariots to temples, showcasing fine craftsmanship and design.

Kamsali – The Metal Craftsmen (కంసాలులు)
Renowned for their expertise in brass, copper, and bronze work, Kamsalis craft divine idols, utensils, bells, and temple ornaments — preserving sacred traditions through metal art.

Twashtri – The Goldsmith (కనుక / సోనార్)
Twashtri is the creator of intricate jewelry and ornaments, representing the skill and precision of gold and silver artisans.

Shilpi – The Sculptor & Stone Worker (శిల్పి / ముస్తారు)
Shilpi reflects the artistry in carving, stone work, and idol creation — a pillar of temple architecture and heritage.
